Applied Learning Specialism
In March 2006 the McAuley Catholic High School was graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted Inspectors and having met the High Performing Specialist School (HPSS) criteria, was invited to take on an additional specialism. In April 2007, the school was awarded a specialism in Vocational Education. This was chosen to build upon our existing specialism in Performing Arts and complement our third specialism - Leading Edge, which has a focus on raising standards of learning and teaching in Maths and English.
